Trusts arising out of court proceedings
Pursuant to an order of the court following court proceedings, the Official Solicitor can be appointed to act as trustee of property held for a person under a disability.
Where a court has sanctioned the payment of damages or transfer of property to be held on trust for a minor or mentally incapable person, the Official Solicitor may agree to act as trustee if there is no other suitable person willing and able to act.
